QNAP TS-932PX 5 (+4) Bay 64-bit NAS, Annapurna Labs AL324 64-bit quad-core 1.7GHz, 4GB DDR4 SODIMM RAM (max 16GB), 2 x 10GbE(SFP+) LAN ,2 x 2.5GbE (2.5G/1G) LAN, 5 x 3.5" and 4 x 2.5" drive slots, 3 x USB 3.2 Gen1, hardware encryption, expansion unit support.
The quad-core 1.7GHz TS-932PX fits nine drive bays into the size of a 5-bay NAS. With five 3.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s drive bays and four 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s bays, the TS-932PX provides the ability to create an HDD/SSD hybrid infrastructure to boost application performance. With two 10GbE SFP+ and two 2.5GbE LAN ports, the TS-932PX supports next-generation networks for empowering bandwidth-demanding applications and providing smoother file access and sharing.
Two 10GbE SFP+ and two 2.5GbE RJ45 network ports empower bandwidth-demanding tasks and accelerate file sharing. |
HBS provides comprehensive backup and data recovery; QuDedup deduplicates the data at the source to optimize storage and bandwidth usage, while reducing backup times. |
Snapshots record your system status, allowing you to protect files and data from accidental deletion and malware attacks. |
Cloud storage gateways realize hybrid cloud applications by working with the cache space reserved on NAS to ensure low-latency data access to the cloud. |
Qtier™ auto-tiering technology and SSD caching enable constant storage optimization. |
Increase the storage capacity of the TS-932PX with QNAP TR RAID expansion enclosures or TL JBOD. |
Powered by 64-bit quad-core 1.7GHz ARM Cortex-A57 processor and 4 GB DDR4 RAM (expandable to 16 GB), the TS-932PX features is highly energy efficient without impacting system or application performance.
The TS-932PX includes two 10GbE SFP+ and two 2.5GbE LAN RJ45 ports, providing out-of-the-box support for high-speed networking and supporting Port Trunking and Failover to reinforce your network infrastructure. QNAP also provide many other high-speed networking solutions, including 10GbE/2.5GbE managed/unmanaged switches and network adapters, allowing you to build a budget-friendly high-speed network environment.
SSDs can greatly improve NAS performance without requiring a heavy investment. The TS-932PX supports SSD cache technology, Qtier™ auto-tiering, and SSD over-provisioning, helping you to balance storage performance, storage allocation, and IT expenses.
Snapshots fully record the NAS system state and metadata and can be used to quickly restore files to previously-recorded states if they are accidentally deleted/modified or if the system is compromised by ransomware. QNAP snapshots are block-based and only record modified data. Not only does this save storage space, but also reduces the time required to back up and restore data. The TS-932PX supports up to 256 snapshots per NAS and up to 64 snapshots per volume or LUN.
The TS-932PX supports common file sharing protocols (including SMB/CIFS, AFP and NFS) for Windows®, Mac®, and Linux®/UNIX® devices. Coupled with Qsync (a utility that transforms a QNAP NAS into a secure, high-capacity data center for file synchronization) any file uploaded to the TS-932PX becomes available for all linked devices (such as computers, laptops, and mobile devices). Hybrid Backup Sync helps you easily backup or synchronize data on the TS-932PX to another QNAP NAS, remote server, or cloud storage (including Microsoft One Drive®, Google Drive™, and Dropbox®) for disaster recovery.
QuMagie integrates QuMagie Core AI image recognition technology for facial recognition, subject identification, and geotagging photos. Similar photos are categorized into People, Places, and Things albums. QuMagie also features a built-in timeline scroll, customizable folder covers, iOS® Live Photo display and a powerful search tool, to provide you with the ultimate photo management and image sharing solution.
By deploying cloud storage gateways and enabling local caching on the TS-932PX, you can seamlessly use the cloud for storage, backup, and data recovery with low-latency access, providing an innovative hybrid cloud experience.

The TS-932PX provides greater convenience for managing files. You can quickly find files using Qsirch and auto-archive them with Qfiling.
The TS-932X centrally stores data and files, and supports SMB/CIFS, AFP and NFS protocols for file sharing across Windows®, Mac®, and Linux®/UNIX® networks. Coupled with Qsync (a utility that turns a QNAP NAS into a safe, high-capacity data center for file synchronization) any file uploaded to the TS-932X will be made available for all linked devices, such as computers, laptops and mobile devices. You can sync shared folders and team folders for group file sharing to enhance the flexibility of team projects and collaboration. Files can be centrally managed using File Station, including files from mobile devices and optical disc drives. File Station also allows you to mount a remote NAS, and transfer files between your NAS and public cloud services for greater convenience.
QNAP provides several ways to expand the storage capacity of the TS-932PX to accommodate data growth:
Upgrade RAID CapacityHot-swap lower-capacity drives with larger-capacity drives to expand the TS-932PX. |
Attach Expansion EnclosuresConnect two expansion enclosures (4-bay TR-004, 2-bay TR-002) or one 8-bay TL-D800C JBOD and use the Storage & Snapshots Manager to handle NAS capacity expansion. |
Migrate to a New NASInstall your NAS hard drives into a larger QNAP NAS and retain all your existing data and configurations.on. |
QNAP VJBOD (Virtual JBOD) is network-based JBOD, allowing you to expand the storage capacity of your QNAP NAS with unused storage space from other QNAP NAS. The unused storage capacity of the TS-932X can be mounted as local disks of other NAS, and you can create virtual storage pools and volumes for operating NAS services to maximize storage utilization.
Note: ARM-based NAS does not currently support the VJBOD "Host" function to utilize other NAS storage space.

Configured system orders start here!
The selected drives are batch controlled and tested using our HDD and SSD servers. Passed drives are then installed in the NAS with Volume and RAID set. Our pre-burn testing prepares the NAS with an initial system and drive testing cycle to ensure that the integrity of the entire system is tested and passed with no issues at all.
Our stress testing (burn-test) cycle commences for a minimum of 24 hours and extends to 48 hours if requested or required. This is undertaken in order to ensure stability when used in a normal environment. These tests can include extremes of workload (constant I/O's), CPU and memory use, thermal load (heat), clock speed, or voltages, bus and connectivity components, with the primary stress testing software aiming to test stability by trying to force a system to fail. Our tests put a greater emphasis on robustness, availability and error handling heavy loads.
Once the tests are complete we QA and pack the system back into it's retail box. Then it's double boxed to protect the unit during shipping. You receive your QNAP NAS Ready To Plug 'N' Store. It doesn't get any easier. Buy your NAS from the QNAP EXPERTS at QNAP DIRECT.
