The TS-864eU-RP supports block-based snapshots that record the state of the system at any time. It helps protect data, which can be restored back to a specific point of time, greatly helping in mitigating the threat of ransomware.
Take snapshots in seconds and revert the entire volume/LUN back to a specific point in time to prevent loss of important data.
Snapshot content can be quickly restored to a local NAS, or restored on a folder/file basis to a local/remote NAS or cloud storage. You can also conveniently view and restore snapshots from the client side.
Multiply data protection by backing up snapshot files! Replicate volume/LUN snapshots in the TS-864eU-RP to a remote NAS (Snapshot Replica) by copying only the changes made. This helps save time & bandwidth, and can be run manually or on a scheduled basis.
The TS-864eU-RP is loaded with flexible privilege settings and security measures. Besides IP blocking, 2-step verification, HTTPS connection, there are more apps that help ensure optimal NAS protection against threats like malware and hackers.
The TS-864eU-RP supports comprehensive access right settings for shared folders, Azure Active Directory Domain Services (Azure AD DS), LDAP, and Windows ACL to help IT staff efficiently manage user accounts and access rights for multiple NAS systems.
Supports IPv6, firewall access lists, and GeoIP filtering to restrict access based on geographical locations for higher NAS network security.
A security portal for the TS-864eU-RP to check for weaknesses and offer recommendations for enhancing NAS security. It also integrates anti-virus and anti-malware scanning software.
Regularly scan your TS-864eU-RP using the latest malware definitions. If infected files are detected, they will be immediately removed to ensure NAS data security.
The TS-864eU-RP integrates rich apps for storing, managing, synchronizing, searching, and archiving files. It supports SMB/CIFS, AFP, and NFS protocols for streamlined file sharing across Windows®, Mac®, and Linux®/UNIX®, and provides the smartest NAS solution for professionally managing your files.
Manage, access, and share all the files in the TS-864eU-RP and view snapshots files – all from your web browser. You can also easily mount remote NAS folders and cloud storage.

Configured system orders start here!
The selected drives are batch controlled and tested using our HDD and SSD servers. Passed drives are then installed in the NAS with Volume and RAID set. Our pre-burn testing prepares the NAS with an initial system and drive testing cycle to ensure that the integrity of the entire system is tested and passed with no issues at all.
Our stress testing (burn-test) cycle commences for a minimum of 24 hours and extends to 48 hours if requested or required. This is undertaken in order to ensure stability when used in a normal environment. These tests can include extremes of workload (constant I/O's), CPU and memory use, thermal load (heat), clock speed, or voltages, bus and connectivity components, with the primary stress testing software aiming to test stability by trying to force a system to fail. Our tests put a greater emphasis on robustness, availability and error handling heavy loads.
Once the tests are complete we QA and pack the system back into it's retail box. Then it's double boxed to protect the unit during shipping. You receive your QNAP NAS Ready To Plug 'N' Store. It doesn't get any easier. Buy your NAS from the QNAP EXPERTS at QNAP DIRECT.
