Including a TEC-2N16 enclosure with two TNS-h1083X-E2234-8G NAS nodes. Each node is powered by an Intel® Xeon® E-2234 4 cores/8 threads 3.6 GHz processor (Bursts up to 4.8 GHz), 8 GB DDR4 ECC UDIMM memory (2 x 4 GB), 2 x NVMe Gen3 x2 M.2 slots, 2 x 2.5GbE ports, 2 x 10GbE SFP+ SmartNIC (Mellanox ConnectX®-4 Lx EN).
QNAP GM-1001 3U 16 (+4) Bay dual-node NAS, Intel® Xeon® E-2234 4-core 3.6 GHz processor (burst up to 4.8 GHz) per node, 8 GB UDIMM DDR4 (2 x 4GB per node), 8 x 2.5"/3.5" SATA HDD/SSD per node, 2 x 2.5" NVMe Gen3 x4/SATA 6Gbps SSD per node, 2 x 2,5GbE, 2 x 10GbE SFP+ SmartNIC, 770W redundant power supply.
The GM-1000 series features a unique dual-NAS architecture that delivers cost-efficient and space-saving advantages. It contains two replaceable TNS-h1083X NAS nodes, which are powered by Intel® Xeon® E processors and provide high-performance 10GbE / 2.5GbE connectivity and expandable I/O. M.2 and U.2 SSD interfaces are also included to enable cache acceleration for tackling the performance wall in bandwidth-demanding and low-latency business applications (such as intensive backup and virtualization). Both TNS-h1083X NAS nodes use the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system that supports block-level inline data deduplication and compression, near-limitless snapshots, real-time SnapSync, and more business-oriented features to achieve reliable service-level agreement performance.

Economic and space-saving chassis design for dual NAS nodes and doubled performance. |
Built-in 10GbE and 2.5GbE ports, PCIe slots, and M.2 SSD slots (NVMe Gen 3 x2) and U.2 SSD slots (NVMe Gen 3 x4 / SATA 6Gb/s) to increase performance potential | The QuTS hero operating system combines ZFS advantages with the QTS App Center ecosystem to empower your business. |
Note: The GM-1000 does not support High Availability.
The GM-1000 consists of an enclosure with two independent NAS nodes. This layout provides greater flexibility in maintaining and upgrading NAS nodes to meet future performance needs for backup applications and other business tasks, and saves costs on the system enclosure.
The GM-1000 is a 3U chassis with sixteen 3.5-inch drive bays. Compared with deploying two similar 2U 8-bay rackmount NAS, the GM-1000 saves rack space and system costs. The support for replaceable NAS nodes also simplifies upgrades and maintenance. Two NAS nodes can share the 770W redundant power supplies on the enclosure to ensure reliable services, providing rigid enterprise IT with a high-performance, reliable, and cost-efficient storage solution.
The GM-1000 features outstanding hardware with an expandable architecture, enabling optimal performance and flexibility to meet diverse business requirements.

Configured system orders start here!
The selected drives are batch controlled and tested using our HDD and SSD servers. Passed drives are then installed in the NAS with Volume and RAID set. Our pre-burn testing prepares the NAS with an initial system and drive testing cycle to ensure that the integrity of the entire system is tested and passed with no issues at all.
Our stress testing (burn-test) cycle commences for a minimum of 24 hours and extends to 48 hours if requested or required. This is undertaken in order to ensure stability when used in a normal environment. These tests can include extremes of workload (constant I/O's), CPU and memory use, thermal load (heat), clock speed, or voltages, bus and connectivity components, with the primary stress testing software aiming to test stability by trying to force a system to fail. Our tests put a greater emphasis on robustness, availability and error handling heavy loads.
Once the tests are complete we QA and pack the system back into it's retail box. Then it's double boxed to protect the unit during shipping. You receive your QNAP NAS Ready To Plug 'N' Store. It doesn't get any easier. Buy your NAS from the QNAP EXPERTS at QNAP DIRECT.
